II. The Goode Study
In a study of
200 marijuana smokers conducted in 1967 and published in 1970 as The
Marijuana Smokers, Erich Goode, a sociologist, reported the following
results as the most common effects of smoking marijuana. The table appears in Goode's
book Drugs in American Society (New York, 1972), page 48.
